Harmony, CA

Harmony California always piqued my interest when we would drive by and finally a few years ago when I’d heard that they had added a glass blower to their village I really wanted to go see it.   The original official sign used to read Population 18 and is still visible in the village.  In this tiny town there is a micro museum, a glass blower, a gallery housing works of over 15 artists, mostly potters.  On a hill behind the village sits a newer winery called Harmony Cellars where you can arrange a wine tasting, browse gift items or plan your wedding.

The village itself is an adorable venue for a small wedding with a tiny chapel, reception room and the outdoor patio area with gazebo etc are gorgeous this time of year with the green rolling hills.  With spring on the horizon, I can only imagine the beauty when the flowers start to bloom.  Be sure to check out the links below too!

The tiny museum is located in this building. Looking through the window in the back I could see that the main rooms were set up for a small wedding reception.

The art gallery is located at the end of this courtyard.

This is the gallery for the artists.

There is a tiny chapel

and the tiny chapel has a tiny stained glass window!

Courtyard facing gazebo under a huge tree with more beautiful brick work.

Large deck for serving or dancing.

Another photo op!

He has some metal work for sale outside…I bought a little birdie.

He has opened up a second room full of his colorful artwork.

Here he has the molten glass on the rod, teaching a client how to make something.

Be sure to stop by and see the beautiful art glass.
