We had a very nice experience at the fair Thursday night. Everything went really smoothly. We arrived about 4:45 and were able to park in our favorite parking lot, which is usually full early in the day. We had bar codes from the fair website for being friends on facebook, so we all got in for free! We enjoyed the pirate ship area a lot….so many things to see there….Catfish Falls, tree house, the enormous pirate ship, etc… We like looking at the farm animals, the art exhibits, and had a lot of fun in the children’s building.
They had a wizard theme this year and some fun exhibits for the kids to interact with like cauldrons of huge bubbles you could make, a musical magical harp, a dragon tunnel that was really cool.
We saw Toby Mac at the Paul Paul Theater. It was a fun concert.
There was no one there after the concert, we walked all over the ride and game area and it was like a ghost town. There were police and security everywhere so it felt safe.
